Pictures and updates made in 2009...

On 8 December 2009 the tugboat "Magnus", owned by Harms Bergung, was docked in Teesdock in Teesport. I managed to take some pictures, see below:

In December 2009 I was back on the European Trader again, the ship was brought back into service after lay-up. Here are some tugs seen in Europoort in December 2009.

During the summer of 2009, I was on the "Pride of Bruges", sailing between Zeebrugge and Hull. Here are some of the tugboatpictures I made during the summer.

In June 2009 we went on holiday with a motor yacht in the inland waters in Belgium. Several push- and tugboats were encountered, here are a few:

After 2 weeks on the Norbank, it was back to Pride of Bruges again for me. On the 18th of May, we arrived at King George Dock in Hull, where the "Conny" and "Ellerby" were just coming out of the lock. I was stand-by on the mooringdeck aft, with camera in my pocket, with these photo's as a result!

In April I went for 2 weeks to the Norbank again, on the Irish Sea. On Sunday afternoon I actually had a chance to go ashore. I went to Albert Dock, to the Merseyside Maritime Museum. I found the tugboat "Brocklebank" docked next to the museum!

On 4 April 2009 the Polish bulkcarrier "Uniwersytet Slaski" arrived in King George Dock, Hull. After transiting the lock, the vessel was assisted in docking by 2 SMS tugs, the "Welshman" and the "Trueman".

On the 8th of March 2009 the tanker "Front Circassia" arrived in Europoort, at the Shell 104 terminal, assisted by the "Smit Hudson" and some other tugs. As she was docking right in front of us, I could take some nice pictures!

On the 15th of January I photographed the "DMS Harrier" in Europoort. On the 17th I took some more pictures of tugs assisting the "Berge Stahl".
